Chase, this one's for you...

Lets see...How was everyone's Christmas? Mine was pretty good! We spend it in Louisville, Ky, with my mom's side of the family, lots of fun!  Would you like a run down of the trip? I thought so.
~Saturday - We rode in the car. Upon arriving there, we were off to dinner! After words we went back to my grandmother's house and just sort of hung out.
~Sunday - We slept in then went to lunch at STEAK AND SHAKE!! I heart that place! Then my aunt and uncle (who have both lost a ton a weight and are really skinny now!) came over and we hung out, then at some more....(do you see a theme here??) Then we pretty much just chilled some more after that
~Monday - CHRISTMAS!! Santa came to our hotel room, I personally thought it was pretty cool how he found us there. We went to my grandmother's house again for breakfast then went to my aunt and uncles house for lunch/dinner. After the amazing meal they cooked, we opened presents! Then we played Apples to Apples and ate some more...There was so much food, it's insane
~Tuesday - we were going to get up early and shop, but we were too lazy, so we slept. Then we visited my great great aunt, she's 92, and one very cute old person! Afterwords, we were off again to my grandmother's house for what? more food and hanging out. Then some distant relative came over and visited for a little bit. Then she left, and we left....
~Wednesday - it was time for our journey home! Although I loved the trip, I was looking forward to coming home and seeing all my friends again.

When I got back, pretty much the first thing I did was go to Susie's house! lol. I missed everyone! I must say, we had a blast! Merm and I drew a picture of Drew the Elf in paint on his laptop. It's pretty much the most amazing picture EVER.

Thursday I didn't actually leave my house until time for volleyball practice. I'm so out of shape it's not even funny. For example...we did a bunch of conditioning and today is Saturday, and I still can't walk I'm so sore...My dad is constantly laughing at me for it too. *note to self, get in shape so I can work out and still be able to function the next day*

Friday! That was yesterday. The Rist's came over for dinner and it was actually a lot of fun! We ate dinner, played apples to apples, then my sisters and their boys played halo all night long, I kid you not. They left about ten, and thats when I finally started packing. lol

Saturday. Thats today. We rode in the car...................and now we're in Knoxville, Tennessee with my dad's parents. Riding in a car and sleeping is about as exciting as it gets for me today.

Tomorrow. NEW YEARS EVE! We will be going to church, then after we come home and eat lunch we're going to see Charlotte's Web then hang out at the mall afterwords if we have time. Then for dinner, we're going to my grandparents country club. I don't know if we'll actually stay for the "party" or not. lol

Well, thats pretty much it. I'm pretty sure you really didn't want to know that much about my past week. But oh well. Too bad for you. I doubt you even read it all. But if you did, Congratulations! You win!

Have a lovely rest of the year and I shall see you in 2007!

And that reminds me...It will be 2007 here, before it's 2007 there. HAH!

Never Take Friendship Personal

So what we've been talking about in youth lately has really been hitting me hard. It's a lot, so I won't go into much detail. I will say though, if you're looking for a church home, or want to get involved in an amazing youth group. Come to Willowbrook.

Thanksgiving is this week!! Exciting. My aunt, uncle, and cousin won't be here this year though, not so exciting. But I'm very much looking forward to this week!

After seeing friend's relationships, and hearing of friends relationships, I've decided that dating is overrated at my age and unless some amazing guy comes and sweeps me off my feet and it's completely a God thing, I will not be participating. Thankyou.

Anywho, I honestly don't know what else to write about. So if you have anything interesting to comment, please do...

So it's been a while hasn't it?

Last week was actually a very good week. I finished my research paper! Hallelujah!! Last week my parents also bought a CAR! Yes, exciting. It's nothing special. a '96 Accord. But it's a car. And thats all that matters.

Work is going great, I love it over at A+. And it's good for me cause I'm learning to do stuff that I'll need sooner or later. And I'm not flipping burgers somewhere so I'm quite happy.

God's been doing a lot with me lately. I won't go into details. But it's been good for me. And I'm growing closer to Him. He's so amazing.

Last  night was a blast! Allie, Merm, and Emily all came over. We watched movies, made a prank call or two to a couple of our friends. Hilarious. Anyone up for a game of "hippie hippie wombat?" Yes, last night was good. We really do need to have girls nights more often, since school started, we haven't had so many and I miss them.
"You're a loser, lets o get some ketchup." "So there was this duck...." "Sometimes you milk the squirrel, sometimes the squirrel milks you"

Well, I don't get a fall break so I've got to get back to school. The SAT is Saturday, and the PSAT is a week from Wednesday. AH!

I hope all of you have a lovely day, week, month, year......

Thursday was the highschool picnic. It was better than I was expecting it to be. Cept the part where Matt got me with the egg. Oh well, I guess I deserved it after getting him first.

Last night was greatness. Kacey and I went to a Stars game. We also got hit on by some 10 year olds...fun stuff right there. We got bored after a while and were sitting in the back and ya know those guys that do all the talking over the mic during the game? They were sitting in the box behind us....so we wrote in my phone "Can ya give a shout out to Kacey and Rachael. Please?" And guess what? They did!! They were quite excited about it, I think it made their day, as it did ours. And oneof the camera guys was sitting near us so he had us on the screen and everything. It was pretty much amazing.

Today I did a lot of driving for insurance. Then we looked at cars. I found one I want, but apparently the ratings aren't so hott so I guess I won't be getting it. Oh well. Tonight I went to Little Rosies with Jennifer and Jennifer. Yay! THEN we went to the movies to see STEP UP. It was a lot better than I thought it would be and I loved the sound track. Ah! I love that movie. Definitely one of my new favorites. AND guess what. JENNIFER gave me a ride home from the movies. In case you don't know, thats a pretty bid deal. Me, riding home with a teenager, at night. We were quite proud of my parents. Way to go. So yes, the past few days have been much fun. The evenings hanging out with friends at least. During the day---school. Bla. Oh well, I'll get over it. I've got to be positive. Anywhoo...I guess thats it. Goodnight!

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
-Matthew 11:28-30

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13

^^Just some verses that have helped me through the week. I think I'm going to make them my verses for the school year. Junior year is supposed to be the worst. The busiest. The craziest. And most likely the most stressful. And this year definitely will be my toughest so far. These verses have just really spoken to me this week especially. No matter what I'm going through, I can make it. God will never put you in a situation you can't handle. And I thank Him for that. Just something to think about...Maybe they will help you like they did me.
